Wife likes it
I used to have a hard time getting my wife to go riding with me, she always complained about saddle discomfort. This saddle fixed all that. It will only get better with time as the leather breaks in. This wider saddle is for upright riding positions. If you have a road bike or a bike with a more aggressive riding position, the Brooks Flyer or Flyer S is a better choice.

Another Brooks Sadddle
There are few constants in this world that you can rely on but Brooks Saddles are one. This is my third Brooks, going back 38 years,this time fitting on my wife's vintage Raliegh Sport which I reconditioned. It looks terrific, she says it feels great already, but hasn't been on any long rides yet. I tell her if it feels good now it will only get better.

Wider than it looks on the photo, but it's a gorgeous saddle. Brooks is the best!

This is the best bike rack I've owned
I've ownded an old Sportworks T2 (now Thule T2) for the past 5-6 years. It's been a great rack that's served me very well. Unfortunately, the backbone finally wore out on the rack and needed to be replaced. Sadly, Thule doesn't sell this part anymore, so you have to replace the entire rack now. They also don't sell replacement bushings for the hinge, which is a shame because the bushings wear out rather quickly when you add on the 2 bike extension. As a result I was in the market for a new rack. The T2 worked very well for me, but after seeing some friends have some catastrophic failures that involved very expensive bikes I decided to look around to see what else is out there.

When I saw the NV, I was really impressed. And after using it for a few months, I have to say it's the best rack I've owned.

The anti-rattle mechanism on the T2 was really poorly designed. I don't know anyone who has a hitch that it works properly with. The mechanism on the NV is...

The KUAT NV Bike Rack
The Kuat NV bike rack is awesome. It's relatively light, quick and easy to install. It's also very easy and quick to mount bikes. The hitch tightening device works well in removing slack between the receiver and the rack (thereby eliminating a source of swaying). Bike of different wheel bases can be easily accommodated as the rear wheel strap can be slid back and forth. We recently went on 1200 mile trip with the rack attached to a travel trailer bumper hitch without any problems. Our new bikes were unmarred. Our old rack would have worn the paint down at the hold down site. One note of caution: the rear bike's handle bar end was only 2 inches away from the back of the trailer although there was no evidence that it made contact with the trailer wall anytime during the trip. The bike repair stand is a great idea and comes in handy. I use it to clean and lub the bikes at home as it eliminates a lot of bending down. The integrated bike lock is a nice touch too. Pleased
Did my homework on this one.. Found it to be stright forward enough. One of the plastic end caps was broken in the packing process. No big deal. I haven't even tried to contact them for a new one. It works as advertised! It looks really great. Unique style.. I like it and have recomended it to friends. I use it for my 29er and my wifes 26" wheel mtn bike. Works perfect for both.

$ doesn't always = quality, but in this case... I'm satisfied. It took about 30 days before this thing became comfortable, but now when I go for rides, I'm truly happy. It's the difference between a wicker chair and a fine leather one in my opinion. I ride 150 miles non-competitively / week so comfort is more important than weight. Buy one if this is how you roll.

swift saddle
My first bike any value was an imported (handmade bicycle). Pretty much standard issue was a brooks saddle (antique brown: leather, of course!).

The bicycle and saddle have been with me for thirty years and the ride just gets better and better, because my brooks saddle has gotten better and better.

When I purchased my Trek portland I just couldn't find a saddle which provided the ride or beauty of my old brooks saddle. After finally settling on the brooks swift saddle (antique brown, surprise, )it seems that I picked up where I left off.

Buy the brooks kit for saddle maintenance (It will help the saddle conform to your unique anatomy) and you will never be disappointed. I do about 50 miles a ride and I am as comfortable as ever. No it is not the lightest saddle but it does get attention, and will not disappoint.
B15 Brooks Saddle
My first Brooks saddle. Always wondered what all the hoopla was about for this expensive saddle. Now I know. This is the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden on. The extra expense and weight is well worth it. Great support for my middle aged sit bones. No more pain on century rides.
