Excellent Bag
Bought this bag, along with Topeak's Explorer rack, for commuting to work (20 mile round trip). Have been extremely pleased with the product thus far. Key observations:

+ Large capacity: Change of clothes, blackberry, etc. easily fit into the main compartment (I keep my work shoes at work). The side panniers provide considerable extra storage, as needed, for storing lunch, work files, jacket, etc.
+ Very functional: I highly recommend buying one of the Topeak racks with the MTX Quick Release features (such as the Explorer rack I purchased)...very easy to to slide bag on and off the rack and the bag is tightly secured when in use.
+ Quality construction: Only time will tell how the zippers hold up, but bag appears to be very durable and well-made.
+ Size/appearance: Since this is Topeak's largest trunk bag, was a little concerned it might look out of proportion on the bike and be heavy. But it looks fine, and it has not significantly altered the...

Great bag for commute and more
This is a great bag, well constructed, large, and secures easily. I originally selected this bag for my work commute. I use this or the smaller one a purchased for my partner almost every time I am on my bike. I actually find that I bike more often because it is easier to run errands.
The only complaint/suggestion is a longer shoulder strap. When I carry the bag with full panniers I would like to sling it over shoulder but the strap is too short.
Perfect commuter bag

Needs the right conditions to work
I really wanted this product to work. Its very well made - german engineering. The concept is great - nothing to drill in the walls.
I read the other reviews, and understand why some like and some didn't like. I spent several hours over three days, and discovered that it depends on the surfaces you are installing it on (ceiling and floor). If you are putting this on carpet, with a textured ceiling - something for it to grab onto - it works. If you are putting it on a smooth concrete floor (in your garage, for example), or a smooth piece of wood (like in an unfinished ceiling in your garage), the stand doesn't grip tight enough and tends to move slightly. Under the weight of bikes, and with vibration from the garage door opener, it can fall over.

awesome product..... with a little attention.
The Topeak Dual Touch has worked out extremely well for me.. After reading the reviews and complaints I put in motion my own plan to stabilize. I've read that some people have had the misfortune of a fall. Not good! My intention was to remedy this by simple means. I've found my remedy is fool proof. It may not be for some, but for the handy it turns this product into a worry free product. And a not so difficult installation.. I've simply added a 12 inch - 2 layer circular medallion on the top level. 2 plys of wood, each 3/4 inch. One layer uncut and one layer cut out for the top footing to set in. Fixed with only 3 drywall screws to the ceiling. This fixes the two issues I've seen buyers fuss over. One - it allows for a snowshoe footing for the drywall ceiling - no punch thru or cracking. And two - it allows for the small but dangerous changes that occur in climate changes. Even if my Topeak loosens under full weight of 2 bikes It cannot break free.. Hope this helps..
Bike stand is easy to set up, and really does save space.
Unlike the leaning type of bike stands, this unit really does save a TON of space. I now have my road bike and my mountain bike in the bedroom of my small apartment, tucked behind the door. It is great. The nicest feature is the adjustability of the hooks, so you can hang just about any bike geometry. The padded hooks are kind to bike frames, too. And it took me about 10 minutes to set up, and was easy to move when I moved some furniture.

How much work clothes can you fit in it?
The reviews for this item were very accurate. This is a well made product. My intended usage for the product was transporting work clothes to my office when I ride to work. So, will they fit?

The main compartment will barely fit two size 13 dress shoes. This is with a little shoving. Size 11-12 should fit perfectly. However, there was then no room for anything more than a single pair of pants. No room for the shirt. I was going to have to unzip one of the side panniers.

A single side pannier fits both size 13 shoes. They take up approximately 3/4 of the horizontal space in the pannier. There is still approximately 2-3 inches left vertically. The front-back depth fits them comfortably with no shoving, pushing, or any stress at all on the material or zipper.

Putting both shoes in side pannier, now leaves the main compartment free for comfortable packing of pants, shirt, belt, wallet, cell phone, etc. I still have the second side pannier...

Is it a robot in disguise?
Bear with me. I may still be on a honeymoon with my bike. I started commuting via bike this year and it's all still very exciting to me. I first bought a Topeak rack and just recently this bag. My previous experience with carrying a bag was primarily using bungee cords and backpacks. Lame, scary, inefficient.

What initially allured me to Topeak was the QuickTrack setup. No tying anything down or bungee cords or anything. You simply slide the bag in place and ride. What interested me in this specific bag was the side bags, which can fold into the bag. This is excellent for picking up a few groceries, transporting books, you name it. On a normal grocery run, I can carry the bag on me into the store (via included shoulder strap), with side bags put away. When I am ready to ride; bags come out, groceries in, click and go. Sooo easy.

Topeak rigid side MTX trunk bag
This whole product line from Topeak is great. The rack is set up so that the bag can be removed and carried with you (shoulder strap provided!) quickly and easily, and snapped securely back into place. The ones with the fold up pannier bags make for a very versatile and compact cargo unit that can handle, one way or another, just about anything. I chose the model with the rigid sides because, apparently some of the earlier models with soft sides kind of scrunched when the pannier bags carried heavier loads. It seemed a reasonable upgrade and worth the price different. I haven't yet really tested the load limits, but so far it has been able to handle everything I have needed for around town shopping etc..But it seems as though it would be perfect for commuters as well, with room for extra clothing, shoes, lunch, laptop, and whatever. They deserve a design award for this baby. They have pretty much thought of everything.

Great double bike stand
I live in Japan. We have multiple earthquakes each day. I live on the 10th floor of an apartment building. In about a year this stand has never fallen. I trust it enough to keep my 4,000 dollar 5.5 Madone on the top hook. My MTB is kept on the lower hook. The only complaint I would have and the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I can't rotate the pedals on the bottom hook when doing maintenance because my Gary Fisher 29er is too large for the crank shafts to spin freely. Other than that I couldn't be happier with the space savings and the fact that I can keep my bikes indoors and up off the floor.

**update** I still live in Japan on the 10th floor of my building. Japan was just hit by an 8.9 earthquake. The area I am in was only around a 5.0. However after I got back from a night in the shelter I came home to find my Topeak rack still standing with my Madone in the top cradle. Awesome product!

Good, Sturdy, Space Saving, but Pricey Bike Stand
Pros:

- It is very sturdy and stable even with two bikes loaded.

- It actually saves space. (I live in a small apartment.)

- Your dirty bikes don't have to touch the floor.

Cons:

- You are guaranteed quality with Topeak, and along with that quality a pretty high price tag to go along with it.

- For some really stupid reason, this bike stand only comes with one "Topeak Handlebar Stablizer". This is what keeps a bike's front wheel from moving left or right while on the stand. I'd rather pay a little more upfront to have TWO Topeak Handlebar Stablizer for Bike Stands, as opposed to realizing that I need another one, and having to order it separately. So if you have two bikes to load on this stand do yourself a favor and order another one before you get annoyed.
Great product, would recommend.
Product is well contructed and sturdy. I was able to put two bikes on it, one of which was a tandam and it didn't waver at all.

The best bicyle pump period
This is without a doubt the best bike pump I have ever owned. It never fails and fits both schrader and presta valve stems. My tires are tubular presta and I can't tell you what a nuisance it was fitting on the adapter. Not with this pump. It's almost effortless.Totally built to last. I inflate my tires to 125-130 PSI and it only takes several easy strokes to get there. Topeak makes great products. No nonsense. No cutting corners.

I have never used such an excellent bike pump.
Whether your bike tires use schrader or presta valves, this bike pump is very easy to use. The night it arrived, I immediately pumped up the tires in both of my bikes to 60psi and barely broke a sweat. The pressure guage that is attached to the frame is the ultimate in convenience. It is really nice to get the immediate feedback from the guage on just how much air is in those tires. I have even used this pump to add a bit of air into my car's tires--it's just that easy to use. I highly recommend this pump.
