Great performance
I'm using this with an avid rotor until the ice tech one arrives, but it's already much more powerful than the juicy 3s I was using. The lever length is great, the brakes come on strong, but after a while on the trail you get used to it and can easily control your speed to varying degrees.

cut to fit
The hydraulic pipes are too long and had I to cut several inches off and the Farrell and inside sleeve are in the kit to make the repair. It bled air up & out the air bleed screw hole with a syringe with very little problem. I had to buy adaptors because the calipers mounted with screws from the other direction (top)compared to my old XTR 2006 (sideways screw) and the new XT work better too. I am getting some drag from them even though I centered and aligned them but I am starting to believe they all do that to some degree. There is an adjustment for reach that will be good for people with small hands and the brake lever length is short but it enabled operation from index or middle finger operation. One finger is all I need to stop, me at 230 lb on a whicked decent in the Sierra Mts. (good by hand cramps)I have not gotten them hot enough to check out the heat absorption of their finned pads yet but they look cool and probably will be, in use. It would be a 5 star if it didn't drag but...
