Great Product
I have been using Suunto heart rate monitors for many years and always used the standard belts that come with the units. I did not realize they made a belt compatible with most cardio machines. I finally had to replace my belt and read about this one. I purchased it and have been using it for about one month. It is great and it has been compatible with every cardio machine that I have been using. I am glad I purchased the product.

Suunto Dual Belt
I have a T6 and recently purchased a T6c on eBay. My old Suunto belt is working but is showing high error rates so I purchased the Dual Belt. The belt is comfortable, appears durable and works well. I have an old PowerTap that I use when biking and used to use this as opposed to my T6 for HR data. With the Dual belt, both my T6c and the PowerTap get HR signals so I can still use the R-R data for analysis in Suunto software or FirstBeat athlete to help prevent overtraining. I am very happy with this belt. On my wish list are 2 items for Suunto. 1) Now that they have joined the Ant+ alliance I would love to have an Ant+ Dual belt and 2) a dual memory belt using the comfort strap would be great as well. I have tried a number of Garmin products and find the continuous charging (405CX) a hassle. Admittedly the Suunto does not provide GPS data but the battery lasts for a year.
Suitable replacement belt
After workouts, I typically run the analysis on the Firstbeate ATHLETE software. Errors were getting as high as 50% after each workout. I also noticed that the rubber part of the electrodes around the heart rate sensor (the oval shape) decreased in height from wearing it over 1 year. This made it harder to detect my HR, thus more errors. With this new Suunto Dual HR strap, errors are always less than 10%, just as it was when I first used the original comfort belt.
I could have gotten away with replacing the Suunto strap alone for about $35 dollars Suunto Comfort Strap as I had hoped having the most up to date Suunto HR strap would benefit me more. It's basically the same as the Comfort strap, with the addition of the ANT/Coded feature, which blocks other HR frequencies from both types.
