Finally! The Perfect Shorts
I needed to replace my good ole Pearl Izumi mountain bike shorts that have lasted so long and I tried PI Canyon shorts and also the ATD Cargo shorts. The PI Canyon shorts had no pockets, & although they were very well made the lack of pockets makes them almost useless for mountain biking (JMO). The ATD Cargo shorts fit great as sized (XL). If you like baggy more than tight (as I do) they're terrific, except that I found the spacious pockets can flop around a bit with stuff in them - kind of minor. I bought 2 pairs - one black, one charcoal. Rode a 14 mile circuit in the charcoal and the chamois chafed in the crotch area, which surprised me, since others have commented on their seated comfort. Sent the unused ATD and Pearl Izumi Canyon shorts back. Ordered the Zoic Ether in XL and the fit was too snug for me. But the XXL (as other reviewers have pointed out, they're cut small so go up one size) were right on. Wow - great, cozy, flexible fit, just loose enough, super comfortable chamois...

Good design, good styling
A nice set of biking shorts that are well-designed and look great. The adjustable waist band eliminates the need for a belt and eliminates that pinch that a belt gives. Plenty of pockets to store those items you prefer to carry on your person. As with all cycling shorts these days, the chamois is not a true chamois, but a padded liner that has the feel of chamois.

-Velcro tabs adjust waistband to proper fit
Zoic Ethers - Feel so good I want to wear them
Been on a few rides now with the Zoic Ether shorts. I really like the RPL liner, seems to have just the right amount of padding for me. It's not super thick like some which can feel like diapers.

I love the feel of the outer detachable shell. In fact I enjoy them so much after some rides I take off the liner, put on the boxers and slide the shell back on. It has plenty of pockets to stash a few small items here and there. They are light compared to my old Zoics which had a non-removable liner and where heavier and made of cotton. The Ethers are made with nylon. They can be a little warm when it's hot but are great for those cool spring days.

I know they are made for mountain biking but they look great and perform well road biking.

Haven't notice any unwanted rubbing, just nice and comfortable. I'm a size 31" to 32" waist and the medium fits fine. The shells do have some adjust-ability with Velcro on both sides of the waist.

Solid Helmet
Check the SixSixOne website for head measurements to get the right size. Mine felt tight at first, but now that the padding has broke in it fits perfectly snug.

Helmet has lots of visibility. Very comfortable. Vents help cool it off when moving. The mouthpiece ventilates pretty well too.

I've used the Bell Drop and this helmet fits more comfortably on my head, doesn't get as hot, and looks/feels way less bulky.

Overall an awesome helmet, and it looks badass. Haven't fallen on it yet, but the specs check out pretty well so I trust it'll work.

Great lid for the money
Pros: Great helmet for the money. Not terribly hot, very comfortable, stays put. Not too heavy. Comes with a carry bag.
Cons: Double-D Ring closure, not quick release. Will stay put but a pain to get off quickly. No fit adjustment or extra pads.

A note on fit - it is rounder than the fit of Giro (at least for XC/trail helmets) and does NOT come with any foam to dial in the fit. Nor does it have an adjustable fit system - not that you'd expect one at this price. I used 4 pieces of foam (2 side, 2 rear) from a Giro helmet to dial in the fit, and it worked great.

The double-d ring closure can be annoying, it doesn't come off (or back on) fast. I'd usually just loosen it up all the way, which would allow me to take the helmet off and toss it back on my head with the chin strap pushed up into the helmet. It did mean I needed to pull the helmet off completely every time I wanted it off my face, which was a bit annoying.

Overall though, great helmet...

Great helmet for a great price. Comfortable, lightweight, and I've personally tested it's impact absorption capacity. The fact that I am still here, is a testament to this product :D

Such a HUGE improvement over the 2011 model!
I'm becoming such a Timbuk2 aficionado, I'm beginning to wonder if I have a problem. I'm changing laptop bags more frequently than my wife changes purses.

Anyway... owning the 2011 Command bag (as well as the original Commute, the Timbuk2 Commute 2.0, and Timbuk2 D-Lux messenger), I was going to pass up this bag, because of my collection, I was most disappointed with my Command.

Well, everything I disliked about last year's Command has been addressed this year, and it's now a favorite of mine. The laptop sleeve has been redesigned to actually protect a laptop now, and the addition of the tablet sleeve is brilliant.

Impressive. Im hooked.
I am rough on my bags. My office is at a power plant, and I travel constantly. I put a lot of abuse on my bags. I have worn out many, many, laptop bags, computer cases, and backpacks dragging them around with me to all of these locations. I finally resorted to using a military backpack that was specially made for the US Army Rangers to use in Afganistan, that one seems to hold up, but it lacks that 'professional' look. (professional soldier YES, but not professional desk jockey)

I had the chance to try this bag out and I must say I am impressed. While it has not been put through the ringer for months on end yet, I can tell right away this is MUCH better than the rest of the laptop cases and computer bags I have used in the past. It is thick and heavy, sturdy stitched, comfortable, and roomy. This thing is great.

The Command Messenger 2012 seems to me to be an excellent EDC (Every Day Carrier) for students and business folks with a caveat for some depending on there every day needs.

I started carrying the last gen D-lux laptop messenger bondage in medium. Overall it was a great bag with lots of room. For example you could carry a gallon of water and there was still a little room left in the width of the bag, so it was able to carry quite a sufficient load. The whole interior was visibly lined with TPU, so you don't mind putting things like shoes or other "messy"items inside the bag as it cleans out very nicely. The laptop sleeve in the back was a bit lack luster and the hight of the bag did limit the laptops that you could carry without having them pop out of the top a little. I expected improved shifting with the XO drive train, but the result is incredible. Shifting is almost telepathic with full XO components. Gear shifts are instant, almost silent and flawless.

Fits Well, Looks Sharp, Lightweight, Comfortable
I write this from the perspective of someone who has not crashed or otherwise tested the safety qualities of this product. Let's hope I never do. But from my experience wearing it, it's a very comfortable, well-fitting helmet that looks sharp.

Fit: The plastic cage inside the helmet is adjustable in three positions near the front of the helmet. Elastic holds the assembly snug around the back of the head, near the neck. I find the elastic is easier to work with and more comfortable than the knob that clicks. It stays in position even if I whip my head around, look down or sit up suddenly. And it fits with the bulky temple pieces on my prescription sunglasses.

Comfort: Very lightweight compared to other helmets with fuller coverage and less ventilation, like this one. The removable visor is a nice touch. An alternate piece of cushioning is provided to replace the visor, and it goes on in a flash with velcro. Easy. The clasp on the chin strap is one of the easiest...

Fits nice and snug, and it's def a Beaut!
Just received my helmet yesterday. So happy it's under Prime. It's beautiful in Highlight Yellow It fits nice and snug on my head. Have yet to wear it when I ride, but when I do, I'll make sure to update this review.

A big plus for me is that the helmet meets Bike Safety Standards (says so in manual and inside helmet). I initally planned to get the Bern Watts helmet in highlight yellow until I read in an Amazon review that Bern Watts wasn't tested to determine if it met safety regulations. I know they are both helmets, but I rather be safe than sorry (or dead).

Plus this is a pretty good looking helmet. Buy from Amazon. Must less expensive here than purchasing from a retailer.

I absolutely loveee this helmet. It's comfortable. I don't get too hot when I wear it (especially since we've encountered heat wave after heat wave this year). And I feel safe.
Girgo Reberb bike helment
This retro bike helmet is great as far as I am concerned. No problems with the fit after almost daily use for about a month.The straps are above average and the helmet's inside padding & venting is very good. I didn't think I would use the visor but I changed my mind after trying it. Also, I think this is the first helmet that dosent make you look like a dork wearing it.
I have the bright yellow one and it make you very visible. Five Stars for everything *****..

My daily commuter for about a 18 months, one mile ride one way. Been in rain, snow, all over Japan. The 21 speed is very convenient with high winds and a variety of gear for any terrain. Great cost / performance / fit
Changed from an old Bell Oasis to the Phase. I ride MTB in (mostly) and off road. In the process tried different models from other suppliers like Bell and up and down in Giro product line. Ended up with this helmet. Very solid feeling not like other low priced options in market and close enough to the more expensive ones. Please bear in mind that head measurement is an indicative of helmet size but heads some are more elongated than others. In spite of same meas. helmet fitting is a little tricky. Other helmets like Bell Venture caused some uncomfortable pressure on my head . This one gave a better fit. I do not like the road helmet + baseball cap underneath to protect my face from the sun. So having a visor is a plus, specially since I ride under rainy conditions frequently. Highly recommended product. I do ride 700+ miles per month.
Long term impression : after 1300 hours of use, fit is still very close to new so pads haven't collapsed which speak very loud about...

Excellent helmet
I have had 3 Giro Phase helmets, and had two accidents where my head hit the ground at a decent speed and both times I walked away with no head injury although the helmet was clearly beyond saving. I give Giro a lot of credit for a well designed helmet and a great fit - highly recommended.
Good value for nice helmet, but Acu Dial 2 was defective
This is a pretty decent helmet from Giro, but the one I received was defective. The Acu Dial 2 fit mechanism would not stay tight. I'd read some similar complaints about this model, but figured I'd give it a try. I also tried it on in a local outdoor store and noticed that several of the same model Giro Phase helmets had the same problem where the Acu Dial 2 fit system would not hold the tightness setting and would come loose.

I must also note that the helmet I received from Amazon appeared to be a returned item, as the box was very worn and the packaging seemed like it had been unpacked and re-packed several times. I assume it was probably returned due to the defective Acu Dial 2 fit mechanism.

In the end, I called Giro directly and they gladly sent a replacement Acu Dial 2 strap to my home (received in about 4-5 days). I easily replaced it and now have a fully functional Giro Phase helmet. At the discounted price I got this for from Amazon, this was well...

The Best
My 7 yr old was in a bike wreck which his face was scraped up. So went online line to look for full face helmet. Heard about this company from local bike shop. Order via amazon due to great price. I cant tell you how much my son likes this helmet light weight and cool design style. I feel so relaxed riding with him now, knowing if he was to wreck again that is face is well protected. Exactly what I wanted.
This helmet does exactly like any review says. It protects your head completely.

It was a little snug on my head at first but once I wore it a couple times it loosened just a little. It breathes realistically well for a full face helmet.

Some things I didn't expect:

It is much lighter then I would have expected, which is great. No reason for the carbon one honestly.

Also, I live in an area with lots of bug life. And you know when you hear that buzzzZzz right next to your ear and it scares the crap out of you cause you think its a bee. Well its even worse when riding a difficult trail, but thankfully this thing blocks your ears from that, another great thing I never expected.

NIce Brain Bucket
I am ordering my second one of these as I just took a major header and cracked the shell. The helmet did what it was designed to do and took the impact.

This helmet is very light and comfortable with good ventilation. My only problem with it was the center visor screw. It stripped out easily as it was just plastic. I replaced it with a metal one and was able to get it tightened down properly.

Giro has excellent customer service as well. I broke the visor after knocking the helmet off my handlebars and Giro shipped me a new one free of charge.

Good MTB shorts
I just ordered my second pair of these shorts. I like the protection they offer, and how breathable they are. They are definitely not outerwear, as they are see through, but work fine under a pair of baggy shorts (too bad though, as they look BA on their own). I always hand wash them, as the mesh is too fragile for the washing machine, but that's no issue.

A must own
Fits well underneath shorts, non-restrictive and tough as nails. If you're like me and you've gotten road rash on your butt or upper thigh then you know how much it sucks. If you hike the up a little high then the pads also cover the bony prominence of the hip which is also a painful thing to land on. You can either spend 30 days tending to road rash and bruises or wear these. I think its a worthy investment.
Nice Shorts.
I was looking for some added protection when free-riding. These Fox shorts provide additional protection without being too bulky or hot. The padding is a dense, semi-stiff foam that is perforated and provides good coverage for the areas most affected in a fall. The liner material is a tightly woven mesh, like most liner shorts. Special note: Sizing runs "true to size". I ordered a large (I normally wear a medium in cycling tights) after reading several comments. Several people said these liners run "very small". That was not the case for me. These liners run true to size when compared to other cycling tights/liners. I returned the large and re-ordered my regular size. Remember, this is a base layer, to be worn under your baggies. The liner should fit snug to keep the padding from shifting in the event of a crash.

Great Helmet ...
From searching for hours for a helmet, I found Giro to be a leader in helmet design. I liked the look of the Athlon from the start. If you have a dealer near you, I would highly recommend trying on before buying. I saved $30 buying from Amazon, & love the helmet.

The adjustments are very easy to make, and I am rarely aware that I'm wearing my helmet. Very light/comfortable, & would recommend to a friend.

Love It!
OK so pretty much all helmets are the same in my opinion when it comes to protecting your head. I like this helmet because it is very comfortable. This is my mountain biking helmet so it is heavier than a road helmet but still comfortable. The helmet is very cool and fits nicely. It is very secure feeling and several steps up from my Trek Vapor helmet. I have a Giro Prolite and Ionos helmet and Giro makes a quality helmet.

Nice Bike for the Price
This is the first bike I've owned in over 15 years. It arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. Assembly was simple. The only thing I had some trouble with was adjusting the derailleur since I've never had experience with it before. But eventually got it adjusted well enough.

The bike is very attractive and is fairly lightweight. I purchased it for $100 less than what the local sports stores were selling them at. That was an added bonus. Very happy with the deal. I'm only 5'0" tall, so I ordered the XS (13") and it fits perfectly.

It rides fine. Very smooth on pavement. Shifting is nice as well. The seat was somewhat uncomfortable. I would be sore for days after a 40 minute ride on dirt or pavement. I bought a gel seat cover for it and it's much better now. No more soreness.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!
This bike is absolutely AWESOME! It is so comfortable to ride and looks great! I love it! Bike was fairly easy to assemble in a short amount of time however since I was immediately taking it on a 26 mile trail ride I took it to my local bike shop (REI) and paid to have it completely looked over and assembled correctly. Bike shop told me back tire was put on backwards from shipper. I have no complains about this bike what so ever. I have put a little over 100 miles on it in my first week both on road and trails. Great for both. Best bike I ever owned! I can't wait to leave work everyday and get home to get out on it!

This will do for now
Pros:

Air ventilation is truly excellent, fit is snug and comfortable, feels very light, the visor does not chatter in the wind, the helmet's design is fairly stylish.

Cons:

The straps often need to be pushed away from the back of my ears, the rubber part of "overmolded arm" on the RocLoc system inside the helmet interferes with the back tips of my glasses.

The helmet is used mainly for my daily commute. The RocLoc system makes the helmet fit well but at the expense of not being able to wear sunglasses comfortably. I wanted to try the Giro brand after I wore out my excellent Bell X-Ray helmet. When this Giro Hex wears out I will replace it with a new Bell X-Ray.

Giro Hex
This helmet is excellent. I was using a Pro-Tec BMX/Skate helmet, which is super safe, but has no ventilation. I would go on 15+ mile cross country rides and get gnarly headaches afterwards from the heat. This would happen even when the air temperature was reasonable. I would keep an extra water bottle with me just to pour on my head to cool down. The Hex has completely solved this problem. It's also pretty comfortable. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one), is that the straps are a little funky at first. I just had to get it adjusted right and wear it a few times, now they're not a bother. I can't say anything for safety since I haven't (and hopefully never will) tested that function of the helmet. This is my go to helmet for mountain or road riding. I guess it's not as aerodynamic as a "road helmet," so it's a little noisier and it's probably not hip. But it works for me. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good helmet at a decent price. I went with the weird...
Great fitting helmet, looks good, great retension system
Been a fan of Giro helmets for awhile. Have used multiple Giro helmets for my road cycling and wanted a dedicated helmet for mountain biking. With the new Roc Loc 5 system offered on this helmet I jumped at it and am very pleased with the results. Roc Loc 5 is a huge improvement over Roc Loc 4 and I feel its the best strap system available today. Helmet size Medium fits great for my head. Plenty of ventilation. Great price for a Giro quality helmet.
