The Bell Sequence is an aggressive and versatile bike helmet designed to span your riding needs from full-on XC racing to pure pleasure riding. This European-inspired helmet features Bell's signature Fusion In-Mold microshell, that bonds the EPS foam to the external shell for a sturdier more durable build. Protection goes even further with the Sequence's in-mold bottom wrap that extends the helmet's protective coverage around the rear of the helmet, protecting the head from all angles.
Built for all weather conditions and riding styles, the Sequence has 24 molded, channeled vents that keep fresh air flowing in and warm air exhausting out efficiently--whether you're charging downhill or crawling up a steep incline. Meanwhile, the Sequence's removable Variable Position Visor keeps the sun out of your eyes at any time of day with 15 degrees of horizontal adjustment.
Coming in three adult sizes, the Sequence offers a relatively close fit out of the box. Bell's Twin Axis Gear (TAG) fit system then allows you dial in an exact circumferential fit and then dial in a secure horizontal fit, to keep the helmet steady and secure no matter how big the bumps are. Meanwhile, Cam-Lock levers allow the you to position the chin strap quickly and easily for a proper fit around the ears.
TECHNOLOGIES
CAM-LOCK LEVERS: Bell’s Cam-Lock strap levers make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. Simply open the cam, position the strap comfortably and close the lever.
CHANNELED VENTILATION: Specially designed ventilation channels on the interior of the helmet's liner bring cool air in through the front, pass it over the head and flush warm air out of the rear ports. These deeply sculpted channels are designed to keep air moving whether you're bombing it at 30 mph, or huffing it uphill at single digit speed.
FUSION IN-MOLD MICROSHELL: In-molding is the process of bonding the helmet’s Microshell to its EPS foam layer to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. The EPS foam is shot into the thin Microshell cap when it’s in the mold--rather than formed separately and taped on later. This process was pioneered by Bell and is now the industry standard for high-end helmets.
IN-MOLD BOTTOM WRAP: In-Mold bottom wraps bring a new level of durability, solidity and aesthetics to helmets. By bonding Microshell material to the lower half of the helmet, In-Mold bottom wraps cover what on most helmets is a less durable, exposed EPS foam.
INTERNAL REINFORCEMENT: In order to maximize venting and minimize bulk, high-end helmets feature internal reinforcement structures. This composite skeleton fortifies the helmet the same way rebar makes concrete stronger, allowing for bigger vents, more advanced styling and lighter weight, while still meeting stringent safety standards.
REGISTERED GRAPHICS: Bell designers have pioneered methods for registering graphics, so that they can make some of the most graphically complex and visually appealing helmets in the world.
TWIN AXIS GEAR (TAG): Bell’s next-generation Twin Axis Gear (TAG) fit system adjusts to the head on two axes--circumferentially as standard fit systems do, but also horizontally to better accommodate differences in the up/down position of the occipital lobe. For added comfort Bell's co-molded the system arms with soft rubber and positioned them higher to better accommodate eyewear. The result is a highly adjustable, comfortable, and easy-to-use fit system.
VARIABLE POSITION VISOR (VPV): Bell’s top-of-the-line Variable Position Visor allows for 15 degrees of horizontal adjustment by using an imbedded clutch mechanism that holds the visor firmly at the desired angle. Changing the VPV’s angle just takes a simple up or down tug.

Excellent fitting helmet
This helmet fits perfectly. It sits low on your head, has easy adjustments not only around the head, but also on the vertical axis, so that if you have a low occipital bump on your head then you can adjust the vertical axis lower to secure the helmet. It doesn't move at all, even without the chin strap being fastened. A well fitted helmet is a safer helmet! I love the color too!

Great Fit!
I tried this helmet in my local bike store before ordering it from Amazon.com. The fit and finish of it are great. The straps which come with it can also be adjusted so they don't bother your ears or chin.
Excellent Helmet
I needed a sized helmet as my melon was too big for the Universal Fit and not quite big enough for an oversized helmet. I found this one on Amazon at a reasonable price with free shipping. I bought the matte black helmet. It fits nicely with a little extra room if need be(hair growing out changing the fit). It's very comfortable and stylish as helmets go...I mean being realistic, it protects your head, its not something you would go out to impress the ladies with. All in all I was very happy with it. If you aren't sure about what size helmet you need, I suggest heading to your local bike shop and try some out to see what you like/dislike. I found a couple of universal fit that were comfortable, but weren't offered in a color/style I liked. Most of the universal fits though just did not fit and were too tight with everything adjusted to its max setting.
