Good price, Good Quality
As a bike lover I do every fix or upgrade on my bicycle, I try to never take it to the shop. At the beginning when I put the tecktro brake in my bike, I was disappointed. I couldn't make them to break firmly with a lever short movement. But with a little patients and some 4 to 5 rides later I manage to make them very precise.
So, good price, nice looking self cleaning disks, good quality bolts (Very Important) and very simple and reliable calipers.

Cables are easier to bring as spares...
I had these brakes as stock on my bike when I got it a couple of years ago. Admittedly, I lusted after the hydraulic brakes my riding buddy had on his bike but after our first long XC ride the inconvenience of needing fluid in your braking system really turned me off. Just like everything regulated by fluid i.e. the clutch system in a manual transmission car and the modern disc brake systems that stop them, they work very well and respond to the slightest of inputs if the system was free of leaks. While it is fairly easy to keep your system leak free it is quite a whole other matter to fix a leaking system in the field. The cable actuated brakes of the Tektro Aquila takes some practice to modulate but I would not trade the ease of bringing spare cables for something that comes easily with fluid actuation but can be learned with a bit of practice.
A nice set of brakes.
Comes with everything but cables and levers. I'm building a gas powered bicycle that didn't have disc brakes. I bought these for the build and feel it's a nice set. They were well packed and came undamaged from China. I was very surprised how fast they came considering the distance they had to travel, if I remember correctly, they arrived in under a week. I haven't completed the install yet and will update my posting as time goes by and I complete my build. A good buy!
