Recommended Camera with a few Caveats
I purchased the Inventio-HD to capture video of my bike rides. It works well. It took a little while to get used to operating the device (I was a little confused as to when I was recording or not) but after I practiced for a little while it felt intuitive. Considering the price, the video quality (720P and 5MP) is great and the sunglasses are well built. My only issue was that I couldn't figure out how to take photographs with it; this wasn't even mentioned in the instruction manual. Overall though, this is a really fun little product with very good video quality at a good price.
Battery Life:
The internal battery is a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. During my test, it lasted close to but a little under the advertised 2 hours of battery time. Because the internal memory is 8GB, you can record straight through for ~ 5 hours ( Almost 3 battery charges). I do wish they had managed to get the battery life a little longer (3-4 hours). HD video drains a lot of battery...

Out-of-Sync Audio/Video Spy Tec Sunglasses
I really wanted to like these video recording sunglasses. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues that I could not accept. First, during playback, the audio and video is extremely out of sync. This was the deal-breaker for me. Second, the video recording was quite a bit higher than my sight of view. This I may have been able to compensate for since I was initially impressed with the video quality. Also, the audio is pretty good too although only monophonic...they could have easily made it stereo with another mic on the other temple. In fact, they should have put the single mic on the opposite temple as the video camera controller since the mic picks up the noise from touching and operating the on/off button.
Another issue is there is no still camera as stated in the description. I wrote to the seller, Spy Tec, to inquiry about this whereas I never received any reply.
So, at this time, I cannot recommend these Spy Tec video & audio sunglasses...
The Best at this Price Point that there is.
I gave these specs 5 stars because they were everything that the manufacturer stated. I have been buying these sorts of recording devices for about 3 years now and I realize that if you've got a lot of money to sink into the glasses the better they will be. For my money I am thrilled, the glasses arrived today per overnight shipping via Amazon. I put the thing on charge right away after reading the instruction manual. It is very well written without any of the confusion that occurs when the Chinese try to translate their verbage to our understanding. It is clear and concise and you will get it right the first try. Once fully charged I pushed the button on the left temple to activate the camera, the blue light came on. pushed the button again, held it in for a second or 2, the blue light blinked fast for a second, then it started a slower steady blink which was the signal that the glasses were recording, at that point I slipped em' on and just went around into different situations,...
