works great on RV
This bike rack seems very well made. We were impressed with speed of delivery, ease of setup. We drove about 1300 miles with 2 bikes hanging on it. It was installed on the ladder of a 5th wheel. Nothing went wrong. The rack stayed tight and bikes rode well.

Good product but won't fit my bikes properly
As usual easy ordering, great service and speedy delivery by Amazon.
The product seems to be well made with heavy aluminum extrusions and stainless machine screws and rivets. The locking pins however appear to be plated steel and may eventually rust. The straps that hold the bikes to the rack are a rubbery material with large holes that fit over a pin - they seemed secure enough but I wonder how long they will hold out after long term exposure to the weather - I have a feeling they may be prone to tearing after a while.
The rack arms attached easily and quickly to the rear ladder on my motor home (a hex wrench is provided). As complained about by another reviewer, the fact that the rail clamp screw heads face the motor home was absolutely not an issue for me - perhaps if the ladder rails were say less than 2" or so away from your camper this could be a problem. Does not fit ALL ladders
This rack does not fit the ladder that came standard on my Lance Truck Camper. It only fits ladders with round side rails...the ladder on a Lance has oblong side rails. So make sure to check the sides of your ladder before you buy this rack. Hope I can find one that does fit though because a ladder bike rack is definately the way to go with a Truck Camper.
