Tailor-made for situations such as storage areas with brittle walls that won't accept mounting hardware without crumbling, rental units which do not allow for holes to be drilled into walls and cluttered garages and other storage areas with limited available wall space, the Thule bike stacker provides a clean, fast storage solution that can always be counted on.
The bike stacker supports up to two bicycles of virtually any weight by means of its rugged 1" x 2" steel construction. This construction runs the full length of the rack, terminating at the bottom in splayed legs which offset its vertical oriented 84" (h) x 31" (w) x 21" (d) dimensions, and distributes the weight of the rack and bikes evenly, regardless of the ground it sits upon. The result is a stable storage platform that can be counted on not to tip. The bike stacker can also accommodate nearly any combination of two bike frames by means of its independently adjustable bike hanger arms. Designed around an ergonomic locking knob mechanism at the rear of each arm butting up against the wall, this mechanism allows arms to quickly be adjusted up the length of the bike stacker as you choose. The arms can also be removed altogether if need be. The rack also provides damage-free storage through its V-shaped bike holders built into each of its arms. These cradle your bikes, keeping them safe from scratches or chips on your frames, and pinches to brake and gear cables.

Excellent design and quality
I am very pleased with this rack. It is well designed and the materials and build quality are excellent. It went together quickly and is very sturdy and easy to use. The independently adjustable arms make it easy to fit different bikes, even with sloping top tubes. The cradles can also be moved front to back to position or overlap the bikes if you want. Has adjustable leveling feet--a nice extra detail so you can keep it from rocking on an uneven floor. I put a heavy dual suspension mountain bike on top and a heavy touring bike on the bottom and the rack is solid as a rock. Another great product from Thule. And thanks to the other reviewer who mentioned having a 10mm wrench, that make the assembly even easier--it is the only tool you need, although you could get by with an adjustable wrench.

Great bike stacker!
Just finished assembling this and it looks great and saves a lot of space in our 1 bedroom apartment. Quick note, you will need to have a 10 mm wrench to assemble this unit since none is provided out of the box. The adjustable arms work well for my wife's women's specific design bike with the angled top tube. It took me a while to find the perfect adjustment for the arms, but once set you just leave it alone. Highly recommended!
Sound and steady.
The Thule bike stacker rests evenly on carpet and provides a secure system of stacking two bikes. I recommend it.
