When a little boy gets too big for a 20" wheeled bike the Cobra 24 is the way to go. The heavy duty steel frame will hold up to the trials of childhood while the 40mm suspension fork will make heading down the dirt paths much more fun. Add in both front and rear twist shifters and he will have lots of gears to experiment with. The linear pull front and rear brakes will make stopping easy. Diamondback Cobra Mountain Bike does not come with kick stand
I was not that happy with the fact that this Diamnondback Cobra 24 Jr. Boys Mountain Bike did not come with a kick stand. Now I have to pick the bike up everythime I pass it in my garage. With the money spent you would think that there would be a kick stand .

Gears don't shift smoothly
Not a bad bike for the price. I didn't want to overspend for my 10 year old, so I wasn't expecting super high quality at this price, but the gears are very, very stiff and don't shift smoothly. We're hoping they will loosen up after a few months. Other than that, the bike is okay. It went together easily.
